WANTED
JOURNAL
WRITERS
FROM AROUND THE
WORLD
TEACHERS:
My name is Ruth Ellen MacVane and I
am an educator in Yarmouth, Maine, USA.
I am currently putting together a book of journal entries from around
the world. This, I think, is an ideal
way to exhibit the similarities and differences of growing up in different
environments from a very blunt and honest source.
I am specifically looking for
journal entries written by eight to eleven year old girls on May 1, 2012. The entries I hope to find will
reveal the thoughts, reflections or just plain day to day activities of a
nine-year old girl growing up in her particular culture.
I have spent my life working in
education and I think we can learn a lot from children. My resume and recommendations can be
seen at ruthmacvane.blogspot.com.
